Stereotypes

Yes we all have them! Don't lie. We all know that when you say 'Asian' you think rice!
So name some sterotypes that are placed on you that annoy you or in general what stereotypes annoy you.
ok here's my list of stereotypes:
1. I'm a white girl there for I'm innocent and smart
2. I'm in band there for I'm a nerd and an outcast
3. I live in texas therefor I must own a ranch, ride horses, not have a computer [wtf?], AC, TV, or Cellphone.
1. Yeah I'm white but I'm not as innocent everyone thinks I am
2. ok I'm in band yes but that doesn't mean I'm an outcast. Infact I know and am friends with about 90% of the kids in our school due to band.
3. Seriously yo? It's called the technological age. We're not in the western age anymore. I will admit I used to own horses and ride them but now a days you have to go out of your way to see horses.

Stereotypes placed upon me:
1. I wear glasses, ergo I must be a nerd.
2. I am male, ergo carnal desire must fuel my every action.
3. I am white, ergo I have never been the victim of discrimination.
My responses:
1. I was a nerd before I wore glasses. No correlation there.
2. Umm... Vow of chastity. Yeah. No sex for me.
3. See above stereotypes. ><

here are some for me:
1. I dress in unusual ways, So I must be looking for attention
2. I have a different sence of humor, So I must be crazy
3. I'm a writer/poet, So I must be secretly emo or goth and get all my story ideas from my tragic, tragic life
My Responses:
1. O_o If people stare at me for wearing my knee-high-tops or my cat ear hat, then I don't really care. I wear what I want because I like it and no other reasons, if they like it then awesome! If they don't then whatever, I may not like what you wear either 8T
2. So I have a lot of inside jokes with my friends and we laugh at weird stuff....don't most poeple?
3. Such a bad stereotype...I so sure that me and all my writers craft buddies aren't secretly cutting ourselves to get new story ideas...
