I'm White (true name Flávia, ugh), I'm 17 years old and I'm from Lisbon - Portugal.~ I'm currently on my 11th grade, studying photography. Putting photography aside, I obviously enjoy singing, but also like dancing, writing (my big passion) and playing RPG's. :3 I'm also a lolita.
Altough my mic isn't extremely good (I use the one that comes with my laptop), I hope to be able to participate in some chorus, and meet awesome people, that I'm sure I will. xD

Regarding your mic, I personally think anything besides a built-in mic is good (sorry lol). But the typical cheap chat mic should be more than good enough for a fandub so dont worry about it too much ^^;

And about the mics, I wanted to buy a "extern" on, but since the only problem with mine is that sometimes when I try to prolong the notes he disfigurates my voice, and I didn't have money at the time, I didn't buy it. :3 But I'm hoping that this year I'll be able to do it. xD

Photography? That's cool! I'm no good at taking pictures, let alone artistic ones.

If you're stuck for a mic, I have a few tips. If you have a mic for the game Rock Band or know anyone that will let you borrow one, they have a USB cord and they work just fine with computers. The quality is fairly nice, too. If not, you can use regular headphones in a microphone jack and they work just fine as a microphone (speakers and microphones are made the exact same way, a copper coil and an electromagnet with a diaphram).

Anyways, what Kado said is definitely true. My old mic was around sixteen dollars and it was really nice. Some nice mics come by really cheap

Writing is also my big passion as well! What a coincidence I'm planning to go professional one day ^^

I want to buy a mic but the problem is that since the prices here at Portugal are getting higher and higher I don't know how much is it right now, but I think around the summer I'll have money to buy something for me, and I'll obviously buy it. x3
And wow! *w* You like writing too?! Awesome! I would love to become a professional one day too but unfortunately I don't have that much of a skill for that. xD
